Soldiers Reunion.

There will be held at Indianapolis on the 14th and 15th of October a Soldiers Reunion. Meetings are being held in all of the Counties over the State for the purpose of organizing to attend this grand Reunion.

Switzerland County was not tardy when Soldiers were needed to carry on the war, but furnished her quota with a promptness that we took look back to with pride. She should be equally prompt now to send her representatives to a Reunion, the object of which is to keep alove the fraternal feelings of those of her sons who shared the hardships and dangers of the march and the battle field during the long four years of our country’s peril. We therefore call upon the Soldiers of Switzerland County (no matter in what Regiment they served or what their term of service may have been, officers and privates,) to meet at the Court House in Vevay, on Tuesday, September 21, at 2 o’clock, P. M., for the purpose of making arrangements to attend the Reunion at Indianapolis. Turn out one and all, no matter whether you can go to Indianapolis or not. Let us at least have a Reunion of the Soldiers of our own County, and let every one who can attend the Reunion at Indianapolis that Switzerland County may not be ashamed of her representation.
