Proceedings of Town Council.

At the meeting of the Town Council last Monday night the following bills were allowed:

  • Ormsby & McCrellis, $5
  • Wm. Smith, $8.33
  • Francis Bonner, $10.50

Mr. Bonner was employed to take care of the cannon, for the sum of 75 cents per month.

John J. Roberts was granted a license to sell liquor in a less quantity than a quart at a time, to be drank on the premises.

The Committee on repairing Washington Street Grade; were allowed another month, with orders to put such repairs on said street as they deemed necessary.

A committee was appointed to examine the contract between the Town Trustees and the renters of the Washington Street Grade; to report at the next meeting.

John Armstrong and G. W. Hawthorn were appointed a committee on sidewalks leading to the school house.
