Decoration of Soldiers Graves.

A meeting was held at the M. E. Chapel last Monday night to make arrangement for decorating the Soldiers’ graves in our Cemetery. The meeting was called to order by Rev. J. K. Pye, when Capt. F. L. Courvoisier was chosen Chairman and J. V. Gilbert Sec’y.

Committees were then selected to make preparations for the occasion, and it was decided that at the ringing of the Methodist Chapel bell, at 2 ½ o’clock, on Saturday next, the citizens participating should assemble at that place and move thence to the Cemetery in procession.
