LAWRENCEBURG.
Population, 5,000. The judicial seat of Dearborn county, is located on the Ohio river and on the C., C., C. & St. L. and the B. & O. S. W. Rys, and the C. L. & A. Traction Line, 22 miles west of Cincinnati. Has 11 churches, 3 public schools, a parochial school, a $12,000 public library, water works, electric light, miles of concrete sidewalks, 3 banks, 2 building and loan associations, 2 volunteer fire companies, 3 newspapers, 2 public parks, healthy climate, 3 distilleries, largest flour mills in Indiana, saw and edge tool works, cooperage works, furniture factory, lumber and veneer works, manufactories of pumps and tube well supplies, coffins, shoes, bricks, etc. Tel., W.
