Geo. S. Pleasants, Commissioner in case of Sallie A. Danglade vs. Elizabeth A. Pleasants; partition. Final report approved.

Thomas Carver vs. John M. Keith; to have mortgage cancelled. Judgment for plaintiff and mortgage ordered cancelled.

William E. Leach vs. Eveline Hankinton et al; to set aside deed and quiet title. Judgment for plaintiff.

James Barker vs. John W. Cunningham and William H. Cunningham; on note. Judgment for plaintiff, $645.85

State vs. Charles Kramer and Frederick Williams; petit larceny. Fined $1 and imprisoned one day.

John Cotton vs. Daniel Cotton and others; partition. Judgment for plaintiff. George W. McKay, David Blodgett and John Montaney appointed to make partition. They afterwards reported it was not susceptible to division, and F. M. Griffith was appointed Commissioner to sell.

The Domestic Sewing Machine Co. vs. William Bowen; for possession. Judgment of possession for plaintiff.

State vs. Gabriel Marsh; assault and battery. Fined $1.

State vs. Peter Funk; assault and battery. Fined $10.

State on relation of Rosa Reamer vs. Ted Carver; bastardy. Judgment for plaintiff, $300, in installments of $25 annually.

Temperance M. VanHouten vs. Silas H. VanHouten; on note to foreclose mortgage. Judgmetn for $260.25.

State vs. James Spencer; entering house to commit felony. W. D. Ward, special judge to try the case. Verdict of Jury, guilty, two years in penitentiary.

State vs. Tude Hicks; rape. Verdict of jury, guilty—five years in penitentiary.

State vs. Charles Finley; assault and battery. Plea of guilty; fined $1.

John H. Shadday vs. George Boggs and Henry Joyce; on note. Judgment for $118.75.

Benjamin S. Robbins, of Madison, admitted a member of the bar.

Justine Schenck et al vs. Isabella McFadden et al; partition. George W. McKay, Samuel Brown and Charles Markland appointed to partition the land.

Elizabeth McCreary vs. Frederick Baatz et al; Foreclosure. Judgment for $536.

State vs. Virge Simpson; entering house to commit felony. Verdict of jury, guilty—five years in penitentiary.

State vs. James Spencer; burglary. Plea of guilty. Sentence withheld for present, Spencer already being sentenced for two years on another charge.

The Grand Jury was impanelled last Saturday, and adjourned last Monday, finding two indictments.

Minnie VanHouten vs. Theodore Bonnell and Alfred Moredock; on note. Judgment for $420.48.

William H. Morrielin vs. Anthony H. Morrielin; on note. Judgment for $141.35.

Eliza Adkinson vs. James R. T. Rayl; possession of real estate. Judgment of possession for plaintiff.

State vs. James Cole; assault and battery with intent to kill. The jury found the defendant guilty of assault and battery only, and fined him $35.

State vs. Charles Day; burglary. Plea of guilty; sentence withheld.

John J. DeHart vs. Edward H. DeHart, Warren E. DeHart and others; partition. George W. McKay and Jasper N. Jackson, Commissioners appointed to partition land rendered their report, which was approved.
