Switzerland County Commissioners – Adjourned Sep 1883

The Switzerland County Commissioners’ allowances appeared in:

County Business.

The County Commissioners—Robert Scott, Luther Buck, and Wm. Brindley—held an adjourned term last Saturday.

It was decided to suspend the reward for hawk and owl scalps after Oct. 1st.

The Auditor was ordered to send bill to Union county, for taking Wycoff to Union county poor farm, he having been found in this county and ordered sent back.

Lemuel Bledsoe reported on painting Court House that he though the best way was to hire a competent man to do the work. It was ordered that he be continued to superintend the work, and that he be authorized to have the painting done.
