COUNTY BUSINESS.

The Board of County Commissioners convened last Monday and are still in session.

Licenses to sell liquor were granted to Francis M. Graham, Frank Scott, Patriot; George Scott, Florence; Ira Taylor, Vevay; Joshua M. Scranton, Patriot.

The new Commissioner, Orson A. Potter, received his certificate of election and was admitted to office, taking the place of John F. Houze, term expired.

Cornelius Cole, daughter of Lewis Cole, was sent to the Indiana School for Feeble Minded Youth.

It is ordered by the Board that all claims for assistance rendered to the poor shall be made through the Township Trustee and be made part of his quarterly report.

Aribert N. Buck was allowed $30 for damages occasioned by change of highway.
