Proceedings of County Commissioners.

Since our last report the following business has been transacted:

In the matter of the petition of J. W. Christie, Cyrus Demaree, and others—For vacation of road in Pleasant Township. David Henry, C. J. Byan and John Kerr, were appointed viewers, to report at the next session.

The following Turnpike Companies were granted permission to assess such lands as have heretofore been omitted; and the Turnpike Assessors appointed by the County were instructed to do so: Allensville, Center Square and Vevay; Pleasant Grove and Indian Creek Turnpike; Vevay and Moorefield.

The Sheriff was instructed to place a pump in the new cistern in the Court House yard.
