Whereas, Certain persons complain that the recent action in regard to the change of the Moorefield Post Office from A. B. Howe to Miss Orinda H. Ricketts, was done at the instigation of a few persons and as said persons also claim that the patrons of the office are dissatisfied with the change of Postmasters, therefore.
Resolved, That we, the undersigned, patrons of this office, endorse the action taken by R. L. Kinnear, Wm. Malcom, Perry K. Cotton, Esq. Towers, Wm. Culbertson, and A. McBride, in petitioning the removal of A. B. Howe, and the appointment of Miss Orinda H. Ricketts in his place.
