LAW REPORT.

Circuit Court—Hon. J. Y. Allison, Judge; J. F. Bellamy, Prosecuting Attorney.

The following cases have been disposed of:

Permelia J. Jackson vs. Daniel F. Jackson et al—partition. L. O. Schroeder was appointed Guardian of infant defendants, Mary, Josiah L., George R., and Eva L. Jackson; and cited to appear to them.

National Bank of Rising Sun vs. Chester C. Culp and others—complaint of suretyship. The Court found that Culp had received the money, and that his property must first be exhausted before coming on securities.

Rosanna McFadden vs. Mary E. Holmes, Rosanna McFadden and Chas. W. Garlinghouse—partition. Henry Myers, Uziel Stow and Abraham Tinker, who were appointed Commissioners at a previous term of Court, made their report partitioning the land, which report was approved by the Court.

Louisa Vanbriggle et al vs. John Melcher, Administrator of the estate of George Tardy—to review judgment. Verdict for plaintiffs.

Robert A. Knox vs. Tillie J. Kendall and John H. Kendall—foreclosure. Tillie J. Kendall not being of legal age, F. M. Griffith was appointed her guardian. The Court rendered a verdict against John H. Kendall, guardian of Tillie J. Kendall, for $983.41, together with interest and costs.

Pallas Wilson and Sanford R. Wilson vs. Edward P. Goddard, Alice Goddard, et al—foreclosure. Judgment for plaintiffs.

State vs. Daniel K. Crandle and Samuel Dibble—obstructing highway. Plea of guilty, and fined $1 each.

John I. O’Neal vs. Annie Kennedy et al—to recover real estate. Verdict of jury for defendant.

Henry Housemier vs. Henry Banta—civil action. Submitted to jury; verdict for defendant.

State of Indiana on relation of John Gill, Auditor, vs. George Gordon and Sarah Gordon—to recover real estate. Judgment for the plantiffs.

The State, on relation of John Gill, Auditor, vs. Daniel and Gazelle McKay—foreclosure. Judgment for plaintiff for $380.50 and costs.

Sylvester H. Morrison, Guardian, vs. Wm. H. Vandever—on note. Judgment for plaintiff for $728.54.

Rebecca Wright vs. Fletcher Wright—for divorce. Granted.

Sarah Barret vs. Edward Barret—for divorce. Granted, and he to pay $200 per annum for the support of children until the youngest shall arrive at the age of 18 years.

Parmelia J. Jackson vs. Daniel Jackson et al—partition. Partition granted.

John Keith, Guardian of George Carver, vs. Lorenzo Hineman et al—foreclosure. Judgment for $373.96.

Several have been compromised and dismissed, and many cases have been continued by agreement.

As we go to press the case of State vs. Joseph Bosaw and Edward Daily, charged with burglary and conspiring to commit same, is being tried.
