Carroll S. Tandy vs. Justine Cook; partition real estate. Geo. W. McKay, James M. Scott, Alfred Shaw, appointed Commissioners—to report present term.

Eugene Eddy et al vs. Martin V. Turner. Judgment for plaintiff—possession real estate and $245 damages.

Chas. Blodget et al vs. Lydia Orem et al. Sale of real estate approved.

Mary E. Turner vs. George M. Turner. Divorce granted plaintiff.

State vs. C. L. Gibson; selling liquor without license. Plea of guilty—fined $5.

Elvira Muret et al vs. David Huston et al; partition real estate. Ebenezer Philips, Geo. W. McKay, John White appointed Commissioners.

State of Indiana ex rel D. N. Haydon, Auditor, vs. Jane Scudder et al; foreclosure School Fund mortgage. Judgment for $611.24.

The Grand Jury returned ten indictments.

Court adjourned last Thursday evening until next Monday, 15th.

James A. Works and F. M. Griffith vs. Charles Morris and Maria Morris; for possession of real estate. Dismissed by plaintiffs at their costs.

Andrew J. Schenck et al vs. Mary Swezey et al; for possession of real estate. Judgment for plaintiff—possession of real estate and 1 cent damages.

Anna M. Jackson vs. Lewis J. Jackson; for divorce. Granted.

State vs. Eugene Tardy; appeal from Justice of Peace. Indictment quashed and defendant discharged.

State vs. Stephen Spears; giving away liquor on Sunday. Not guilty.

State vs. Albert Ricketts; assault and battery. Plea of guilty, fined $1 and costs.

William Hall, Executor of estate of Joshua Smithson, deceased, and Administrator, with will annexed, of the estate of Sarah Smithson, deceased, vs. Eugene W. Smithson et al; to construe wills. Case compromised, and judgment by agreement. The Administrator to convert all property into each, then pay all costs of administrator and this suit; one-half of balance to Universalist Convention of Indiana, one fourth to Universalist Church of Vevay, one-eighth to the heirs of Joshua Smithson.

Alice M. Summers et al vs. Mary J. Stewart et al; for partition of real estate. Partition confirmed.

Elvira Murret et al vs. David Huston et al; for partition of real estate. Land not susceptible of division, and ordered sold, George S. Pleasants Commissioner.

Levi Bloch vs. Frank Rosenberger et al; damages. Trial by jury; verdict for plaintiff, $32.50 and costs.

Mary B. Hughes vs. William Hughes; for divorce. Granted, and she given custody of children.

William S. Evans vs. Adolphus Leap; on note, etc. Judgment for $82.50.

William Hall, Executor estates of Joshua and Sarah Smithson, filed appraisement of four disinterested householders, showing value of real estate to be $4,250, filed bond for this amount, and case continued for sale of real estate.

William L. Told vs. Benjamin F. Keeney; for possession of real estate. Judgment for plaintiff.

Carroll S. Tandy vs. Justine A. Cook et al; for partition of real estate. The report of Geo. W. McKay, James M. Scott and Alfred Shaw, Commissioners, was approved and the land divided accordingly.

State vs. Robert Smiley; assault and battery with intent. Trial by jury, fined $25, omitting costs.

Jane A. Gibson vs. Adolphus E. Merit et al; for foreclosure of mortgage. Judgment for $21,541.25.

James A. Works vs. John W. Bray; replevin. Judgment for plaintiff for $110.10.
