VEVAY. The judicial seat of Switzerland county, is a town of 2,000 inhabitants, on the Ohio river, 100 miles southeast of Indianapolis and 75 below Cincinnati. Has 2 banks, 4 weekly newspapers, The Reveille, Times, Democrat and Twice-a-Week are published. Tel., Ohio River Telegraph Line and telephone connection. Mail daily. Money order office.
