RISING SUN. Is the county seat of Ohio county, located on the Ohio river, 32 miles below Cincinnati, is an incorporated town of 2,000 inhabitants. Has a national bank, and 2 weekly newspapers—Recorder and Local. The town carries a bonded debt of $4,000. Stage daily to Aurora, fare 50 cents, and Patriot, fare 50 cents. Exp., Adams and U.S. Money order office. Michael McGuire, postmaster.
